FCV Threshed Lamina / Strips

Our flagship export product. Threshed Lamina is produced through the Green Leaf Threshing (GLT) process, which separates the lamina (leaf blade) from the midrib stem, producing clean, consistent leaf material ready for direct use consumer products manufacturing.Zimbabwe FCV lamina is recognised internationally for its superior chemistry content, characteristic orange/lemon colour, and superior combustibility qualities developed through the country's high-altitude growing conditions and precision curing practices.Discuss with the Trade Desk where the product will be used, the desired grade profile, packing format, shipment window and destination market.

FCV Scrap — F8 / F16

Tobacco Fines are the fine-particle by-products of the GLT threshing and cutting process, recovered through sieving at two standard mesh grades F8 (coarser) and F16 (finer). While classified as a processing by-product, Tobacco Fines retain the characteristic FCV flavour profile and represent significant value in secondary blending applications.Fines are particularly sought after by manufacturers of reconstituted tobacco leaf (RTL), where they are slurried, refined, and cast into sheet form for use as cigarette filler and wrapper material.

FCV Stems — LST / SST

Tobacco Stems are the midrib material separated from the lamina during the GLT threshing process. Available in two classifications, Short Stems and Long Stems, they are re-dried and conditioned for export. Despite being a by product, stems carry characteristic FCV compounds and nicotine, making them a valuable raw material in downstream manufacturing processes.Long Stems are primarily used in expanded stem (ES) processes and as a reconstitution raw material. Short Stems are used in paper reconstitution and as a tobacco extract feedstock for next generation products.
